In 2018, the price of tinplate rose by 25.45% year-on-year. The price of tinplate (Shanghai 0.5mm cold-rolled coil) started from the highestprice of 6,120 yuan/ton in 2010,and unilaterally fell to 2,690 yuan/ton in December 2015, a drop of 56%.
With the increase in environmental protection and production capacity, the price of tinplate began to pick up. In 2018, the average price reached 4,816 yuan/ton, up 25.45% year-on-year. The price before the deadline (January 17, 2018) was 5,100 yuan/ton.
